Free workshops for family researchers
Nest workshop to be announced.
Else Martin, editor of the “Journal”
for the Jackson County Historical and Genealogical Society,
conducts free genealogy research workshops for beginners and advanced
the third Saturday of each
month at the Pascagoula Public
Library.
She takes a beginner’s group from 9 to 11:30
a.m., and then from 1 to 4 p.m. conducts a “problem solving”
class.
Participants are familiarized with
resources available in the library’s Local Genealogy and History
Department and others. Special direction is provided in the
afternoon session.
The department is located on the
second floor of the library, located at the intersection of
Pascagoula Street and Delmas Avenue.
